South-East Asia campaign of Rajendra Chola I
[edit]- ... that the Medieval Chola king Rajendra Chola I sent a naval expedition to South-East Asia in 1025?
Created/expanded by Ravichandar84 (talk). Self nom at 16:45, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
- Did he send or undertake the expedition.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:01, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
- The prasasti states that Rajendra Chola I sent the expedition. This is also supported by popular tradition. Modified the sentence in the lead accordingly.-RaviMy Tea Kadai 17:04, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
- Hook: Short enough, interesting enough, verb needs to be clarified (as noted by Tony, you have two very different verbs)
- Article: This needs a good copyedit. New and long enough. Referenced thoroughly. AGF on offline sources.
- Summary: Needs a copyedit and clarification of the hook. I'll try and do the copyedit tomorrow. Crisco 1492 (talk) 16:26, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
- I think you have made the proper adjustment in the hook. Date, length and ref are all good. I think the text is high enough quality for DYK. I don't see that any further copyedit is required. Of course, I could be convinced otherwise by a good rationale.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:24, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
